About QuoteVote

QuoteVote.uk is a UK homeowner quote-checking and public-voting service. It lets people publish genuine trades quotes, see quotes posted by others, vote on quoted prices and discuss the work. Public verdicts are opinions from users, not professional valuations.

Your account

Some features require an account. You are responsible for access to your email account and for activity carried out through your QuoteVote account. Public usernames must not impersonate another person or organisation.

Content you submit

Only submit material you have the right to share. Quote submissions should describe a genuine quote or job accurately to the best of your knowledge. Do not publish full home addresses, private documents, unnecessary personal information or images you are not entitled to use.

By submitting content, you give QuoteVote permission to host, display, format and distribute that content as needed to operate and promote the service, including public quote pages and social previews. You keep ownership of content you own.

Voting, comments and public opinion

Votes and comments represent individual opinions. QuoteVote does not guarantee that a verdict is accurate, representative or suitable as the basis for a financial or hiring decision. You remain responsible for your own decisions about tradespeople and quoted work.

Acceptable use and moderation

Do not use QuoteVote for unlawful content, harassment, hate, spam, scams, impersonation, privacy violations or manipulation of votes and discussions. We may restrict, remove or moderate content or access where reasonably necessary to protect users, the service or data integrity.

Third-party services and links

QuoteVote may link to third-party services, including trades or quote providers. Those services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. Some outbound links may be affiliate links and may generate revenue for QuoteVote.

Availability and liability

We aim to keep QuoteVote available and useful, but cannot promise uninterrupted operation or that every user submission is complete or correct. Nothing on QuoteVote is legal, financial or professional trade advice.

These terms may be updated as the service develops. The latest version will always be published on this page with its update date.
