What QuoteVote collects

Depending on how you use the service, QuoteVote may process your account email address, public username, quote details, broad location, uploaded job photos, votes, comments, reports, saved posts, notification activity and limited technical/security information needed to operate the service and prevent abuse.

What is public

Published quote details, broad location, job photos, public username, votes and published comments may be visible publicly. Your account email is private. QuoteVote does not ask you to publish a full home address.

How information is used

Information is used to provide accounts and magic-link sign-in, publish and manage quotes, record votes and discussions, save posts, operate notifications, review reports, protect the service from abuse and maintain the integrity of QuoteVote data.

Service providers

QuoteVote currently relies on service providers including Supabase for database, authentication and storage, Vercel for hosting and deployment, and Resend for production authentication email delivery. Those providers process data as needed to deliver their services.

Legal basis

Depending on the activity, processing may be necessary to provide the service you request, to pursue legitimate interests such as security and service integrity, to comply with legal obligations, or on the basis of consent where consent is required.

Retention and deletion

Information is kept for as long as reasonably needed to operate QuoteVote, preserve legitimate records, protect users and meet legal obligations. Some removed content may be retained in limited form where necessary for moderation, security or record integrity.

Your rights

Keeping personal information out of posts

Do not upload house numbers, full addresses, private documents or unnecessary personal information in quote photos or descriptions. Use the Report control if public content exposes personal or private information.
